Do a quick Google for "astrology chart" and you'll be bombarded with offers of free astrology charts. There are quite a few people who try these, get an inaccurate account of their preferences and personalities, and decide that astrology is hogwash. This is very frustrating for astrologers producing quality horoscopes! Your mother may have said to you (more than once, if she was anything like mine!) that you get what you pay for. If you pay nothing, you usually get nothing. Free astrology reports are based on automated systems and the mechanical action of databases -- quality ones that give an accurate picture of yourself and your future take time and training to create. What is the difference between a free astrology report and a quality horoscope?
Human judgment
Have you ever been frustrated by the voice-recognition systems that big companies are using to try to cut down on call center staff? If you've ever had to try and guess what answer a machine wants you to give, you'll understand why astrology by machine just doesn’t work. Anything outside their set parameters just slips by … and that small detail could make a big difference in your chart!
Natal charts are not only created by a set of rote characteristics, but by the interactions of these characteristics. Each house, ascendant and element does not stand alone, they all impact each other. Only humans can gauge the effects of one on the other.

It isn’t reasonable to expect a free report to be able to detect and interpret all the nuances of the zodiac system where two people are concerned. You and your partner probably have a hard enough time figuring each other out -- what makes you think a machine could do it?

Free reports are often used for light entertainment, to create reports for dogs and cats, or even for cars. Astrology just isn’t applicable here, and quality astrology services don't provide things like this.
